When it comes to marketing, the customer might not necessarily be the consumer.

How?

Let’s take a biscuit/cookie or noodles brand, you’ll notice that their adverts have both the customers and the consumers because brands need to target both in order to make sales.

For the products mentioned above, their adverts are tailored for kids (consumers) but in all cases, it’s the parents(customers) that make the buying decision at the end of the day after much persuasion by the children.🙂
